It is important to understand that with all spa treatments, there are always contraindications. This list of contraindications will allow you to see if this particular service is right for you. Other side effects not listed may also occur in some individuals. I DO NOT have the following medical factors or health risks:
Under 18 years of age
Diabetes
Pregnant and lactating women
Glaucoma and blood thinning medicines (e.g.‚ Aspirin‚ Niacin‚ Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen)
In the eye and brow area‚ skin diseases such as psoriasis‚ eczema and undiagnosed rashes or blisters
Allergies to Iron Oxide
Those with easily triggered post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation
Hemophiliac
Medicines that may affect how your skin responds to blood clotting and healing
Have healing disorders‚ uncontrolled high blood pressure or had mitral valve disorder
Those on any skin medication such as Accutane‚ steroids which thin and over sensitize the skin
Allergies to topical anesthetics
Coumadin: Amount of bleeding and response to topical epinephrine will determine coverage per appointment. If excessive bleeding occurs‚ extra appointments may be necessary for desired outcome or procedure may not be effective
Transmittable blood conditions like HIV or Hepatitis
Active skin cancer in the area to be tattooed
Cancers/Chemotherapy
Epilepsy
Shingles (varicella): If you have shingles on your face‚ wait several months to get permanent makeup
Flu or Cold
Pinkeye
Cold Sore Outbreak
